Recording Services

Witness Protection Studios not only boasts the ONLY purpose built, publically accessible recording studio in the ACT, it's one of the best constructed and best equipped in the country, thanks to Expert Sound Engineer and Builder Danny Elliot.

Using State-of-the-Art Recording equipment and Software, Microphones, and the best 'dead'rooms for sound recording, ACT Muso's have access to Rolls-Royce facilities on a Hyundai budget, while you'd pay Lambo prices for equivalent facilities in Sydney or Melbourne.

RATES

The recording studio is available to book 24/7 in 1 or 2-hour sessions (Vocalists Only) or a minimum 5-hour Session. Artists/Bands may hire the facility only and use their own Sound Engineer, but they must be vetted before first access, by attending a 4 hour induction. Alternatively, you may choose to use one of the ‘in-house’ Engineers (Rates by negotiation with the Engineer). This works in 2 possible ways

  1. Bands or artists can book the studio as a ‘Dry Hire, and organise the sound engineer separately. The prices for Dry Hire of the recording facility are;

1 Hour (Vocalist Only) $80

2 Hours (Vocalist Only) $115

Studio Only 1st 5 Hours $350

8 Hours $480

Longer Sessions by negotiation

2. Bands or artists can contact the Sound Engineer directly, and the Engineer can book the studio. Indicative costs (may vary slightly between Engineers) for booking of the recording facility wih the Engineer are;

1 Hour (Vocalist Only) $135

2 Hours (Vocalist Only) $250

Studio and Engineer 1st 5 Hours $600

8 Hours $800

Sound Engineers.

Are you a Sound Engineer who would like to be able to bring bands into the studio for recording, editing or post-production services, We’d love to meet you but we need to be sure that you know your way around the studio, both for our benefit, yours and our artists. A ‘one-off’4 hour induction is offered to allow us to be comfortable with each other’s expectations.

1-Off 4 Hour Engineer induction $250
